We have access to the Gooseberry Trail system from our parking lot as well as access to the Superior Hiking Trail. We offer shuttle service to our guests who are hiking the Superior Hiking Trail. We are also located 3 miles from the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park Trail System.

BIKING TRAILS

We are located next to some of the best bike trails in Minnesota. Explore the amazing Gitchi Gami State Bike Trail with your own bike, or you can rent a trike from the local business,Trikes for Life.

FISHING AND BOATING

We are located next to many different types of rivers, fresh water lakes, and Lake Superior. All the major lakes in the area offer an official DNR boat launch, or you can take your boat down to the Lake Superior boat landing at Burlington Bay in Two Harbors, MN.

CANOEING AND KAYAKING

We have 4 major Minnesota State Parks located near j gregers inn.Gooseberry State Parkis only one mile away from j gregers inn.Split Rock Lighthouse State Parkis 9 miles north of jgregers inn on Highway 61. The famousTettegouche State Parkis located 19 miles northeast of j gregers inn. TheTemperance River State Parkis located 40 miles up the shore between Schroeder and Tofte.
