With good snow and cold weather, the rivers of the North Shore are gorgeous on snowshoes. The Gooseberry and Split Rock rivers that are close to us have few visitors and terrific scenery this time of the year. If you haven’t been on snowshoes or on the rivers, now is the time. One of our guests, shown here had her best winter experience last weekend on the upper Gooseberry River. The Split Rock River is getting a little more traffic but still is an experience not forgotten. Join us soon and start making memories.
